My latest public lecture: “A Salute to the Veterans of WWll and a Look at the Normandy War Memorial” held on May 17th at the Roxbury Senior Center in Beverly Hills.
Over 130 gathered including WWll Veterans from the US, Canada and Britain. The event also featured live music and a local preschool’s children singing to start things off.
My focus was the diversity of the military of WWll and featured the stories of Jewish, Japanese Americans, Native Americans women. The lecture also featured a look at our Normandy War Memorial in France and the Opperation Overlord on D-Day.

Although I am an art historian by trade, I enjoy giving a history lecture once in a while and I was thrilled to be invited.
